Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Information about site visits

The Suffolk Building Control Group operates a next day inspection service.

Please contact your appropriate district before 4pm to ensure a site visit the following day. You can find more details at our inspection booking page.

Areas inspected will include:

  • commencement of work
  • completion
  • damp proof course
  • drains
  • drains test
  • excavations of foundations
  • insulation 
  • occupation 
  • oversite/block and beam floor
  • passive fire protection
  • roof members.
