Free Seminars this April

2022 is set to see the biggest change to building regulations in over 30 years.  We have revisions to 2 existing regulations, Parts F & L, 2 new regulations, Parts O & S as well as a new Building Safety Bill and the introduction of a new regulatory system.

Free seminars

We're excited to introduce our first in-person events for two years. A presentation delivered by Paul Hughes, Corporate Manager, Babergh and Mid Suffolk Building Control, will give you the opportunity to explore each change in turn as we introduce the changes and explore what they mean in practice. There will be an opportunity to discuss these with our surveyors and industry colleagues on the day too.

We'll be heading to New Green Centre in Thurston to kick things off on Monday 4 April, followed by Copdock Village Hall on Wednesday 6 April and finishing our week at Sudbury Town Hall on Thursday 7 April.

Registration and arrival for all events will be from 2.30pm with the presentation starting at 3pm. We anticipate the seminar will last around 2 hours. Light refreshments will also be available.

Feel free to share these events in your networks, with your colleagues or anyone else in the industry that may benefit from this event locally.

Book Now

Booking is not essential for these events, however, we do recommend booking a place so that we can anticipate numbers to ensure your safety in a post-COVID environment. This event is FREE and open to anyone in the industry looking to find out more about the changes. It is a great opportunity for CPD for architects, builders, tradespeople and surveyors alike.

Book your ticket to the Thurston seminar at New Green Centre, on Monday 4 April from 2.30pm.

Book your place at our seminar in Copdock Village Hall, on Wednesday 6 April from 2.30pm.

Or join us at Sudbury Town Hall for our final seminar, on Thursday 7 April from 2.30pm.

Ask us anything

If you have any questions about the upcoming changes in the meantime, feel free to discuss this with your surveyor or drop Paul an e-mail. Alternatively, if you have any other questions about the event please contact event organiser, Andrea Welsh.

We look forward to seeing many of you in person this April.
